1 - Pay in full upfront

    2 - Pay a $100 deposit and the balance July 15st

    3 - Pay a $250 deposit and the balance by July 15th

If you opt to do a deposit now, the balance can be paid via Venmo, Zelle or though our website.

Contact Josh McNabb for more details.

  • The event will be held on beautiful campus of Colorado State University Mountain Campus located 16321 Pingree Park Rd, Bellvue, CO 80512.

  • We will be staying in cabins that have 6 bedrooms each and each bedroom will sleep 3 - 4 people with twin beds. Linens will be provided. If you desire to room with someone, just let us know who!

  • Yes! Just let us know as soon as possible. You will still have a roommate or two.

  • The biggest benefit is the pricing. This is the lowest price this event will be as it will get higher with regular registration and late registration. Also, those who register early will get access to workshop sign ups 24 hours earlier than everyone else. Some workshops may fill up so this is a great away to practically guarantee the workshops we want to take! However, note the Early Bird registration ends March 31st.

  • As workshops are locked down they will be added to the website; however, we plan to have them all locked in by April. Please keep in mind they are subject to change.

  • Sign up as soon as workshop sign-ups open! When workshop sign-ups open in August, you will receive an email on how to sign up if you are registered. It is on a first-come / first-served basis. We limit the workshop sizes so that participants can get the most out of each workshop. While we don’t guarantee you will get all the workshops you want, everyone will get to attend at least three workshops.

  • You will receive an email from Josh, our LGBT Outdoorfest Coordinator, confirming your registration, going over some basic information, providing you with a release form if we don’t currently have on for you and what the next steps will be.

If you have any questions along the way, feel free to email us at josh@lgbtoutdoors.com

  • Check in will be from 1:30pm - 2:30pm on Thursday, September 12th and the event will end at 11:00am on Sunday, September 15th.

If you are doing a late arrival or early departure, please let us know.

  • Yes, but the cost will be the same and you will need to let us know of your arrival and departure plans.

FAQ.

  • While we are working on finalizing the details, yes, there will be a bus that will go from the DEN airport to LGBT Outdoorfest and back to the airport when its over. There will be 50 spots available and it will be first come first serve. The fee for this will be approximately $70. By the end of April we should have the cost and details locked down and updated here for you!

  • We will have a check in station set up and the location and details of that will be in your registration email.

  • Per CSU: Folks of drinking age may bring alcohol but it can only be consumed (responsibly) in your reserved buildings – cabins and classrooms – and not brought to the dining hall or taken for a walk. The campus is at 9,000 ft. so if your body has not acclimated to this your body might be less equipped to effectively process alcohol.

  • LGBT+ Outdoorfest is open to LGBTQIA+ people who are (or will be) 18 years of age or older as of the event start date.

  • Nope. The only way to make sure you get into the workshops you want is to sign up ahead of time. (First come, first served). Some of our workshops are hands-on - and we have to limit the number of participants for safety and educational reasons.

  • Absolutely! CSU will be providing our meals for us with a protein, vegetarian and vegan options. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know at least 30 days in advance.

  • You can transfer your ‘ticket’ to someone else, if you’d like... but you must notify us of the transfer and you may not re-sell it for more than you paid. Refunds are available up to 60 days before the event. After 60 days we are unable to provide refunds because funds have been spent in preparation of your attendance.

  • Anyone can apply to be an instructor, but we receive more applications that positions so its highly selective. Workshops must pertain to outdoor related activities. You can access an application here. applications will be closed February 1, 2024.

  • While we love our dogs, unfortunately, CSU does not allow dogs unless they are a registered service dog. If you desire to bring a service dogs, please let us know ASAP so we can let CSU know. Service dogs also must wear a service dog vest while on campus.

  • Yes. Professional photography and videography helps us promote LGBT Outdoorfest for future events and shows our sponsors how the event went. While we to collect some testimonials, it is not require and totally fine not to participate in them.

If you have any concern about photos/video, please reach out to Josh McNabb and we will see if we can accommodate you.
