STEP 2: MAKE A DONATION

We know some don’t understand why we ask for a donation when the outdoors is “free,” however these events are far from free to us to produce and set up. There are a lot of overhead expenses that we have to cover. The other reason is we are not just offering an outdoor activity, we are creating community. When you come to an event that one of our Ambassadors host you will meet other people like yourself, become a part of the LGBT Outdoors family, share experiences with others, have someone else plan the logistics of your adventures, recruit others to join you, as well as have a leader with you to teach you about the activity if you are new to it and help ensure your safety. These donations go towards operating costs and helping expand the Ambassador Program.

If for any reason you cannot afford a donate of $5 or more, that is totally ok and we still want you to come and enough the events! Donations can be made below or through Venmo @LGBTOutdoors

Step 3: RECEIVE CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND RELEASE FORM (please complete Release Form asap.

Release Forms are good from January to December so you only need to complete a Release Form once per calendar year. If you have completed one for the current year you can ignore the Release Form.

Step 4: YOU’LL BE CONTACTED

The event host, an ambassador or team member, leading the event will contact you.
