Brazos River Kayak | TX

Let's hit the water for the first kayaking event for 2024.
Don't have a kayak? No worries, details for renting a kayak will be provided after registration. They also have double kayaks.
The group will cruise up the Brazos river to the Mouth of the Bosque river. From there we will explore the calm water river that comes directly from Waco Lake.
Afterwards we will meet at Slow Rise Pizza for lunch.

Yoga & Forest Bathing | TX

We'll be joining instructors for a hike, yoga, and intro into forest bathing. We will practice yoga for approximately 30 minutes. This will be a standing practice on a semi-even surface so no mat will be needed.
You will also be introduced to Forest Bathing and learn how to use your senses to connect with Nature.
Last, we will embark on a group hike for a max of 3 miles.

Canyon Camping Trip | TX

This will be an exciting full camping experience with hiking, cooking, stargazing, camp fires (if possible of course) and night hikes!
Join use as we get to know each other while enjoying nature.
The Camping trip is for 4 nights and 5 days - in which we will plan hiking for 3 of those days + other activities.
All logistics including food, equipment, and other organization items will be finalized after the final group is formed as well as how much time each person is planning to attended if not the whole 4 nights 5 days.
The 2024 Release Form will have a space for you to provide which nights you’ll be attending.
I have already booked the camp sites. All you have to do is register below and show up! More details and payment options will be sent to your email after registration.
*Tents can be provided by LGBT Outdoors if needed.

Once a year we are called into duty! We will help clean up a 121-acre oasis of green space located right in the middle of urban Dallas.
Clean nature - happy nature. Lets enjoy the experience together and get to know each other even better.
After the clean up we will have lunch in the Bishop Arts District together.

Join us for an extended weekend camping trip for the solar eclipse! This will be a very chill and relaxing weekend! We don't have anything planned to do together specifically, but we will do a hike, meals together (You are responsible for your own food or go in with me on the cost of food/supplies and I will bring it), campfire and spend time decompressing in the outdoors!
If you don't have a tent, no worries, LGBT Outdoors has a bunch and you are welcome to borrow one!

We'll be going up to Turner Falls in Oklahoma for some hiking. We'll explore the falls and castle, and then hike the trails around the park - about 3.5 miles.
There is also a zipline ride that flies high over the valley, if anyone is interested.

Hey, North Texas and Oklahoma members! We'll be returning to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, and this time we'll be camping!
If you do not feel up to camping out in the January cold but you would still like to join us for daytime activities, feel free to find accommodations near the refuge or make a day trip.
During the day, we'll be cooking out, hiking different trails, exploring the refuge, and hanging out in the town of Medicine Park.
